JCI Halifax recognizes the importance of being involved in your community. JCI offers young people various opportunities to get involved and to make a difference, while learning new skills and growing on a personal level.

Ronald McDonald House Dinner Program

The Kitchen is the Heart of Every Home…

Imagine being part of a wonderful new program at Ronald McDonald House that would touch the hearts of our families.  A ‘Dinner Program’ that would provide families and their children the ability to return from a stressful day at the hospital and have a wonderful home cooked meal waiting for them. 

This new ‘Dinner Program’ will only be successful with the assistance from companies or groups like yours. 

We are asking your group to purchase the ingredients, prepare the meal either here or off site and bring it in.  This special program will go a long way in allowing our families to return to the House and enjoy a beautifully home cooked meal.   Our goal is to have a schedule implemented that would allow groups to volunteer their time once a week, once a month or once in a while…whatever your schedule allows. 

We think this is a classic win-win-win.  Our families win because they get to enjoy a lovely meal without having to cook on a stressful day.   Your group wins through participation in a fun team building initiative and contribution to a very worthwhile cause.  We win because we will be providing a wonderful service to our families while getting to know and build relationships with wonderful community volunteers like you.
